Fun fact: headscarf/hijab on woman is mere recommendation, but it’s the men that push such recommendation to be a mandatory(like what happened to Iran). So yall who ask “no hijab” kinda play into the conservative hand.

How is this playing into anyone’s “hand”? Are you saying that, in the very real and not at all sprung from a diseased mind IRJ, men somehow DON’T push it to be mandatory?

  Not sure where i said or mean that, but if it’s not clear enough: men are already pushing it to be mandatory, people who ignorant about the religion will joke about woman not wearing hijab, further helps the conservative pushing the agenda.

    IRJ is the Islamic Republic of Japan, the thing we’re talking about here. People are participating in the joke idea of an Islamic Japan, you’re not going to get a lot of nuance out of that.

but most (abrahamic) religions is still inherently patriarchal, so it kinda becomes mandatory societally.
