The Miele oven I had broke 2 months after 2 year warrenty. The mechanic who looked at it said it was dead, I needed to buy a new one. I found the issue myself, the spit roast function (which I never used) was broken. I unplugged it and the over worked again. The Miele mechanic costed €85.

Miele used to produce great devices which would last for 40 years. But also they found out you sell less when it never breaks. Now they rely on their good name while the quality becomes less.
