terranoid@lemmy.cafe 1 week agoI swear some people act so fucking alien about life, like they had not learned some of the most basic things, or lack what you would consider to be the most obvious social skills.
I think some families just royally fucked up their kids heads growing up.

No, they just didn’t have your life. or your standards, or your ‘skills’.
I grew up working-class, and upper middle class people think my social skills are shit, because I’m not endlessly passive-aggressive like they are. I have no issue communicating with with other working-class people, but upper class people think i’m a social freak because I speak my mind directly, which to them is an impossible idea.
