I pushed a dumpster that was left blocking a footpath out of the way (and got bin juice on my hands). I try to be the person that does the thing instead of waiting for someone else to do it.

Whenever I have a bath I always ask the fam if anyone wants second hand bath water and there’s never any takers although the dog trots in like I’m giving away ham.

Recently helped an elderly man use the self checkout at the supermarket. Seemed not something he did regularly. The only thing he was buying was flowers. I’m sure there’s a story there and it’s probably sad.

What is Chicken rice? Sounds like paella. I need new chicken recipes. 1/3 of the house are complaining that they hate chicken. 1/3 of the house are complaining they don’t like red meat. 1/3 of the house hates anything new. And 2/3 hate lentils. I am stuck with what to provide them with. This is a share house with three people if you were wondering about all the /3 stuff. Many suggestions are welcome!

Easy as to do, desn’t have to be spicy and I love that I can clean the kitchen while it’s finishing up.
Another fav of hers is recipetineats.com/one-pot-greek-chicken-lemon-ric… - again, nice and easy, but I do marinate the chicken overnight unlike the first once where everything is done at once.

Cooked dinner for three. Gave the op-shop Krishna meals an extra dollar to cover their fridge costs. Gave the cat water bucket and the birdbath a thourogh clean and refill.
