Haha, humanity surviving the next 100 years is a lot to take for granted. Just because the USA is in the lead in the race to the bottom doesn’t mean the rest of the countries in the world aren’t in the race as well.

    I’m American, I think billionaires are always fucking everybody, and I think the human race has better odds of surviving another 100 years than the USA as an entity. But I don’t feel like debating whatever train of thought you’re on.

    Not a debate - it’s easy to say the US is fucked (rightfully so, we are fucked). My point was it’s happening to almost every single “first world” country right now. Same billionaires, same fucking playbook. Humanity is in a great filter moment and whatever’s left in 100 years is going to be a wasteland
