That said, shouldn’t we consider all sugar content when evaluating how healthy an item is?
After all, you can take orange juice and ultra process out all the healthier stuff, leaving only the sugars. Those won’t be “added” but they won’t be any good for you, providing a marketing loophole of “no added sugars” for companies.

Sugar in fruit is perfectly healthy, it does not have the same negative health effects as processed sugars. This website has links to studies as the sources if you want to read them. If you don’t know much about nutrition, that is one of the best websites to learn. It’s non-profit, has the info available for free there and on YouTube and provides all the studies supporting it. A lot of what the general public thinks about diet was designed by food corporations who have no interest in your health or wellbeing
