Daughter and her beau broke up. We’re ‘dating’ for a bit, made it official…and like a week later it’s over.

Daughter is a bit sad but not too bad.

I’ve already offered to pay the lad a visit for a ‘friendly and constructive exchange of productive ideas’.

My son offered to drive there, to get his learner’s hours up, and to physically assist.

Daughter declined the offer.

  My kids are my life. That’s the long and short of it.
  
  I will say all that was (thankfully) in jest.
  
  We know the dude, and the breakup was pretty mutual.
  
  But if he got fresh or uncouth, my girl knows that I’ve got her back and his fucking spleen in an eski.
