Banana@sh.itjust.works 3 weeks agoAs a Canadian i think there’s a little confusion here because the roles universities play are a bit different here vs the US. I went to uni and I don’t remember extremely biased teachings myself, and I studied economics.
I’m only very slightly familiar with the Babylon bee as parody kind of like the onion or hard times, but I’m not very familiar with their actual leanings.

A college education is increasingly becoming the political dividing line in the US so the right is trying to degrade trust in the university and education in general.

My university had extremely biased teachings. Never once did they present me with alternative physics. And in the humanities they made me stay on topic and provide well reasoned evidence for whatever position I took.
