Oh it works now, but that charger you got is iffy at best and youâve got probs another hourâs worth of battery before it stops working and you have to go buy a new one.

I restarted my work laptop so many times this morning and it still works :(

Lets hope all these updates thrash the SSD and deplete the storage health. Thatâs how I got to take home my last work laptop

ahahah a couple years ago a mateâs workplace was decomissoning a site. They said âTake what you want, weâll ewaste whatâs left after this weekendâ All the millenial coworkers grabbed maybe a chair, maybe a monitor or two.
Me and said mate (a fellow genXer) rented a truck. And we cleared that fucking joint out, including âbrokenâ laptops and entire comms racks.

My problem is I want all that stuff but donât know what to do with it. I have an optiplex in a server cabinet and an RPI knockoff I get stuck with every time I try to do something

Fiddle with the internet somehow lol âoh no how will I ever do any work with the internet out? Wow! Woe is me!â And so on and so forth

Jumping into the bios and turning the wifi off would be a good way to free up a friday afteroon whilst the IT guy looks at it

Have you tried starting it with a hammer?
tombruzzo@aussie.zone â¨5⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
Hammers leave marks. The Removalists taught me to start it with a phonebook instead
