I’m getting a bonus at work I wasn’t expecting with how the company as a whole went last year. I’ve decided to bang it into super since I wasn’t budgeting on it coming through, and at least this way I can keep 100% of it, even if it’s not actual cash in the hand.

It just makes me think about how lucky I am I can put some surprise extra money away like this and I’m getting a bit of extra side money from trivia and Coffee. It also helps fight those conservative brainworms looking at your pay and seeing you only get 2/3 of the bonus because the rest gets taken out as tax.
