Where did I say “all democrats bad”?
The centrist democrats who run the party are bad. When I refer to the party, I’m not referring to those people the party goes out of its way to avoid representing. They only get let into the tent to vote and are then kicked out.

Oh so you’re cherry picking, got it.

Did you think I was referring to the currently powerless progressive wing when referring to the actions of a party they do not control?

When you say “Democrats” it is understood you’re talking about Democrats, not just Democrats you don’t like. Mamdani is a Democrat. Sorry it’s not a monolith that you can just dislike and it’s more nuanced than that, but that’s the reality of the situation.
Just like how the reality of the situation is that the Democrats, even though they suck overall, are the only political party with the power and sway to do anything against the Republican party. This means, sadly, we’re in a position where if you’re any kind of Left, if you care about any minority, that’s who you have to vote for.
Is there stuff we should be doing/are doing to change that? Yes. Will it change? We can hope. Is it changed now, so we can vote for someone other than Democrats and Republicans and they have a chance of making changes we want?
No.
