No, there has never been a time when Nintendo, the cheapest option for a current gen console, has been $500, while the others start at $600. Considering the other current gen ones are 6 years old at that price, next gen will be even higher. People will keep buying them, of course, but everyone has their breaking point. I won’t be the only one.

We’re talking about console prices. Nintendo has always been the cheapest option, so they’re the ones I focused on.
