Comment on American workers are tired of waiting.
AdolfSchmitler@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoI voted for kamala lol. If they wouldn’t let bernie run we would’ve avoided trump all together. They ousted David Hogg when he was trying to make actual progressive changes. They are not your friend, they just don’t say the quiet parts out loud.
Put your faith in them and you will only be disappointed.

Yeah hindsight is always 20/20 and maybe trump still would’ve won but I do think there was a strong chance he could’ve won with all the grassroots canvassing and a track record of standing up for civil liberties.
Both parties serve the same master, it’s just a different version of “good cop, bad cop”.

I mean I would much, much rather be locked in a room with someone playing the good cop role.

Me too lol. But I know the bad cop is just outside the door and he’s gonna come back in eventually.

What?? You think bernie is on their team? Lol. When they railroaded him out of the primary? Bernie is a D cuz the only other option is R fyi.
They serve the oligarchs, corporate interests, you know, rich people…?? and if you cant or won’t see that then just stfu and keep voting “blue no matter who” so we can get trump 2.0 in 6 years.

Bingo. Bernie lost the popular vote in both primaries. Not sure why it’s so hard for people to accept this.
I like Bernie. I’d vote for him for president. But my wishes aren’t reality. He wasn’t popular on a scale necessary to win.
