Here in France we don’t have primaries, instead we have various leftist group who compete into attrition and loose the elections. That being said, they do have differing political views, so it is either that or the problem you mention.

edible_funk@lemmy.world 4 days agoThat’s why you vote for progressives in the primaries. But either progressives don’t vote in primaries or there’s genuinely not enough of us to warrant representation in which case we’re all fucked anyhow.
