  The app starting with K is probably a nod to how KDE names many of their projects something that starts with K. (Konsole, Kate, Kdenlive, Krita).

  The litoris part probably refers to how linux apps often name things after random weird stuff, e.g. gimp, but it’s not always genital/sexual related I guess.

    Latex is just a kind of rubber, and a material produced by some plants used for making rubber. Sure, if you’re not careful when googling, you can get dodgy results with “latex” in the terms, but that seems to me to be of a different calibre.

      LaTeX is the #1 Material used in fetish clothes. Its pretty much the only use for it.

        I’m sorry what? What about:

        • Shoes
        • Gloves
        • Tyres
        • Elastic bands
        • Balloons

        All of these are made (partly) from natural (i.e. latex) rubber.
