IDK why but sometimes something* simple done well just hits right. But it’s entirely on personal taste. I have zero interest in the original Wolf3D and flat maps seem too restrictive to be fun, but I absolutely loved Project Warlock 1. It’s odd.

I agree. My hope now is that this was a valiant first effort from a dev who will come back with lessons learned and maybe their next game will be a bit more engaging.
