The style is a huge red flag for me… I don’t think “woah cool rubber hose animation” I think “oh, another hyper-styled game with no actual game”. Negative reviews confirmed this fear.

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Out of nearly 2,000 reviews less than 100 are negative at all.

Get comfortable with people not liking everything you automatically like, that’s how preferences work.

As I’ve said right from the start of my comment shane, I want games that have gameplay, I do not look to style.

That’s not a preference, and there doesn’t appear to be any evidence that it’s even true. If the game was shallow the reviews would not be overwhelmingly positive.

I read the reviews which confirmed that it’s a stylish game with not a lot of skill or deep mechanics. Learn to read.
