You can say any word on yt, it’s just that some get deprioritized by the algorithm, which hurts ad revenue, so people choose to self-censor. That’s different from them taking something down so it can’t be viewed at all.
Pretty sure they actually take videos down they deem straight up against their policy, the deprioritizing happens on top of that to videos that aren’t exactly against policy but they dont wanna promote it anyway

This is a bad take, using their major corporate power to bully people into censoring themselves beyond societal norms is not OK.
I’ll give you a list of words that I’ve decided are not allowed and every time you use one, I’ll reduce your pay by 10%
