Comment on Why don;t most of us Americans only need like one foreign language to pass high school? Why not make it mandatory for like 3 or 4 languages?Would that not give us the upper hand when traveling?

In Spain there are places where two languages are taught at once since the first minute.  There are two official languages. And a third one is taught soon after that.
