But The Pedophile said the Old Man once sniffed his daughter’s hair, so I’m voting for The Pedophile.
Comment on Are Americans Actually Idiots?
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 3 weeks ago
Yes. Youve still got people on Lemmy who argue for a 3rd party vote in the previous and next election. Its mind numbing the fairy land these people live in. All around the world people are watching as Americans struggle with simplest choices.
But as fun as it is to blame Americans entirely their media is completely cooked. Their FCC refuses to enforce laws against bad actors. Internal bad actors and external bad actors constantly spread misinfo and manipulate public perception. Even though its been said over and over I still dont think people actually understand the influence this is having on the average citizen. You can convince the media voter of anything if you can control their perception of the world.

Why vote for the pedophiles?
Vote Green, or Socialist, or Libertarian, or WHATEVER comes closest to what you think is right.
They say it’s only A or B because those are they options they have allowed you to have. But it’s not their call, and it’s not even their business. They don’t realize that third party votes influence the major parties (if they didn’t, it wouldn’t enrage them so much, now would it?).
Ds and Rs, worry about your own parties, get your own voters out. A lot of people hate both of you, and you’re going to have to let them go. You can’t force them to join your binary clown show.
The majority of voters are INDEPENDENTS (40%). Ds and Rs are now the minority (30% each). That’s what you get for ignoring voters for DECADES.

I think the problem is the voting system itself. first past the post highly enocurages a two party system. third parties will only rise when one of the two big parties does a major fuck up which, considering the pedophile president, is hard to do at this point.
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
Dam you really thought you were cooking here. 🤦♀️
Wakmrow@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
I vote third party specifically to make people like you mad. I took time out of my day to vote green.
You want my vote, give me a single issue that the dems will be good on
Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
They’re good at holding office for decades until they are freaking 89 like Maxine Waters.
Coincidentally, she and her entire extended family have somehow become filthy rich. What a coincidence! So lucky!
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
No one will ever cater to people like you because you’re irrational and irrelevant.
Wakmrow@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
Oh ok good maybe you’ll shut the fuck up about leftists not voting for your shitty candidates
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
I’ll continue calling them out when they act like they’re progressive and actually trying to improve life for people. I can’t let maga adjacent scum infiltrate and undermine or movement.
CrateredMoon@lemmy.today 3 weeks ago
Meh. I feel you. I don’t regret voting Nader in 2000, but realistically, your chances of moving toward a more progressive society are far better if the cult doesn’t have a champion in office.

Idk man Ross Perot almost won back in the 90s if the cancer thing hadn’t happened he might have actually done it and then I truly believe once it happened it would have continued to happen.
But instead yeah we should keep the system we have bow democrats and republicans have been so good to us wouldn’t you agree?
You’re like the guy that tells people not to vote for the union.
8oow3291d@feddit.dk 3 weeks ago
Ross Perot
Ah yes, the billionaire. Electing a billionaire businessman is just what the US needs, right?
Skankhunt420@sh.itjust.works 3 weeks ago
I never said that.
I said, that he almost won and if he had I truly believe that others would have too (meaning third party runners)
I never even said I supported him or any variation of that, simply that a third party almost did win and that if it happened once it could again but of course never will with the type of discourse that guy is using. “Throwing away votes” and shit what a load of nonsense.
People like that are why third party votes dont win and seem to be wasted in that context.
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
Yes democrats have been very good.
Skankhunt420@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks ago
Like that time they didn’t listen to their voter base and tried forcing Joe Biden again only to pull Kamala Harris out of their hat with no primary held practically giving the election to trump?
Or that time they didn’t prosecute him for the Jan 6th attack on the capital that he created, and in turn giving him another chance to screw us all?
There’s so much more, but that is a big piece of the puzzle right there.
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
Listen to their voter base? You mean take an unpopular stance on an issue that doesnt rank in the top 10 for any group of Americans. Oh wow you’ve got amazing political insight. They were already on the correct side of that issue.
They did prosecute trump. Trump won the election and corruptly cancelled it.
But yeah keep telling me how its a hard choice between the side thays actually improving conditions for people and the corrupt dictator. Fucken moron.
kreskin@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
You voted for genocide and got genocide IndieGoblin, so I suppose you’re the smart one, yeah. Good job.
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
I voted and I did not get what I voted for because my candidate did win.
You voted for nothing and got exactly what you wanted. Hopefully you’re enjoying the results
Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
You will blame the third party vote, meanwhile, over half of those eligible to, don’t even vote, and you can’t even get your tens of millions of your own party members to vote.
It seems third party voters are the absolute least of your worries, but do go on with your mind numbing
IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 2 weeks ago
I didnt blame them I said theyre stupid.
