Going to see a little pair of ginger boys today at a foster. It feels so gauche. But Cerys really isnât doing well on her own, sheâs never been a lone cat

Itâs so sad loosing a pet. Itâs not gauche. Everyone heals in different ways and if having some new kitties around will be good for you and the household, then thatâs awesome. Hope the are a good match!

A pair of gingers is a good idea. They can annoy and entertain each other, and Cerys can join in if she feels but she wonât be their primary source of entertainment.
And remember that your heart isnât pie, divided up into slices of love. With each new creature we meet and love, it grows to fit them in and Mishaâs place in there is forever.

We knew we had three criteria:
boys as they really donât get hierachical like females and just roll over and accept being the bitch
younger, for similar ease of introduction / hierarchy reasons
two to annoy each other at their energy levels instead of Cerys. So we started looking at bonded pairs.
We would have loved to adopt an older pair, but theyâre all set in their ways and weâd basically just be upsetting three elderly cats for human morality.
