Donât touch hexclad. I made that mistake and ditched the pan after just a couple of uses. EVERYTHING sticks to it and itâs a bugger to clean. Donât believe the advertising.

Itâs time to throw out my frypan. Shit went down hill when YL tried to recreate a butter chicken dish using frozen crumbed chicken tenders. It hasnât been the same since.

Coles have a promo right now. I looked at the frypan and it looks alright to me. I believe itâs Kitchenaid.
I look for 3 things. Light weight, easy to clean and non stick.

Welp, wouldnât recommend you Solidteknics, but I love mine. Heavy and similar to looking after cast iron. And not cheap upfront. Hoping theyâll outlast me tho.

Yeah I donât get attached to frypans.
I have 27 year old Acrosteel pots that are still going strong. The only way Iâll get rid of them is if I upgrade to induction.

For non-stick I have a tefal one and a esteele one. The esteele I like much better. When the tefal carks it Iâll replace with esteele. More expensive but they regularly go on sale at Myer or DJs.

Tefal is what I normally buy. I buy when theyâre half price at Coles. They last about 5 - 6 years for me.

I reckon theyâre about the same non-stickness, but the esteele has thicker base and heats more evenly, and holds the heat better. Canât say about durability, I have had it only a couple of years but so far is holding up very well.
