Worst controller design of all time.
Objectively false, and it’s not even close
An Atari Jaguar controller
An Apple Bandai Pippin controller
An Amiga CD32 controller
The worst has to go to the Phillips CDI. In fairness, this was designed primarily as a remote control, and there was a much better dedicated gaming controller available, but they believed this layout would be adequate for gaming.

The Atari 5200 controller is also pretty legendarily bad.
Yes, this one comes to mind, tho arguably perhaps no games to play with, lol.
The Amiga CD one does not look that bad?
It hurts to hold for more than 2 minutes
It doesn’t look that bad. And then you hold it. It’s like they made a controller based around the theme of stepping on Lego.
