Yeah, Iām about to put bazzite on my last one of those Dell sffās for a console like box. The co-op games I want to play are on steam and run off line. Iāve been running bazzite on my main pc for a while now and itās great. Whenever I have to give mum it support for win11, Iām glad to not be using it. Heating about Old Gatesey and his Epstein rash further reinforces my decision.

For a while Iāve felt like Iād rather fuck around with plugging my laptop into the TV and dealing with the audio issues that can crop up than ever turn on a console.
This was reinforced a while ago when my girlfriend broke out her old disney infinity stuff for the kids. She had to sign in to her PlayStation account just to play local coop, which then forced a bunch of system and game updates. Truly a terrible experience.
Aside from the audio devices being annoying, the laptop needs to fully turn on before it will detect any other audio devices, Bazzite has Just Worked and Iāve been really enjoying it

Iām thinking of switching my big PC over from Mint to Bazzite. I just havenāt been happy with Mintās performance on some games, but the laptop has worked well.
I also like the extra WINE options I get between Lutris, Heroic, the WINE GUI launcher, and a few others. Iāve spent some time on MyAbandonWare and Iāve been able to get some of the oldest and most unsupported games working on there

remember when a person didnāt have to have an account to play a game, they just put the disc or cartridge in and played

These days you can buy a game and it doesnāt even come with a disc. Or it might, but itās just the licence for the game and you still need internet to actually download it.
