rafoix@lemmy.zip 7 hours agoI need 800fps. One of my Steam games was 800+ fps on its HUD even though it was on a 60fps monitor. My GPU was going at 100%.

The game can run faster than the refresh rate; you just won’t be seeing more than 60 a second.
