Maybe D’Anjou pears? They’re a bit more round than the Bartlett’s, and I think they taste better

I haven’t had a good pear in years. I don’t know the name of the pears I grew up with, but they were green. All I can find these days are Bartlett pears. The brown ones. And they taste like fucking saw dust.

at least here in sweden the tasty pears are conference, with native ones also being fine a lot of the time but tending to be a bit more mid
but man a good conference pear is like an edible box of juice, insane that such fruit exists
