Note that many people find S01E01 off-putting on a way different from the rest of the series. Up to you where you start, but if you start with the first episode I recommend watching at least two before judging.
Comment on Amazon develops methods for inserting ads onto any flat surface in an existing video

can confirm, found the first episode disgusting enough that I haven’t felt like watching any others

The choice is yours, of course, but as others have pointed out each episode is at least semi self contained. I’m a bit behind, but none of the others I’ve seen have been at all like that and most have been very worth watching.

As others have said, Black Mirror. In this one specifically, the walls become ads, and if you close your eyes, the ads pause until you open them again.

That’s Black Mirror S01E02 - Fifteen Million Merits. It’s on Netflix.
If you haven’t seen that Series, give it a try. Also it’s an anthology, so you can usually watch any episode in any order without needing the other episodes (at least as far as I have watched it).
Every episode is usually its own story in its own universe and depicts a not-very-far-in-the-future dystopia that (ab)uses media and technology and extrapolates from our current social issues.

This is largely true but it’s worth noting that they’re frequently in the same universe with a lot of them referencing each other in subtle ways. It’s neat.
But yeah you can start anywhere and not be lost.
