Yeah Roku is definitely working on how to fix this. You were never supposed to bypass the ad filled content.

I don’t have a TV with Roku uilt in, which I’m guessing OP’s is? In any case, it seems like this love TV thing is taking a second to interface with channel tuning hardware and maybe that just takes a moment to load, and the default is set to an ad I guess.
