That one is kind of a remaster though, this one is a proper remake. Not sure if it’s necessarily.

I would have been way more excited for a Cursed Halo remake. Think of the nonsense they could unleash when actually building the game from scratch for it.

He did make a new, expanded version about two years ago. I’m probably going to give the mod a go. :)

Yes, but that was lazy remake, this one they put effort into, probably.
FWIW I did enjoy this remake, but it did have some janky looking cutscenes.
