This glasses thing is really doing my head in. One pair has weird distortions, and both make me âseasickâ if I change focus. Understood they are for Reading but I donât want to puke if the cat meows for attention

No, singles. What I donât get most is the supposedly identical scripts being so different

Are they multi-focals? I believe they can sometimes take a bit of getting used to. But my first pair distorted things badly because they had done something wrong with the script and everything was bent out of shape, I had to get that pair replaced.

That sounds like there could be something wrong with them. Iâd go back to the shop and have them checked out. The ones I had that were dodgy made everything at the top look bigger than the bottom and made me feel seasick if I walked around in them. Everything was in focus so it took a while to realise there was a serious problem with them and not just needing to get used to multifocals, but the distortion meant all the distances felt wrong, a bit like when you look through water and things are not quite where you expect them to be when you reach out to grab them. I think it was something to do with the measurement they do of where your pupils are that had been transcribed wrong.

Pretty much exactly that. My phone looks bent inwards and keystone effect on monitors. Totally taking them back.
