People hide behind fake names all the time, Antifa seems more anarchist than anti-fascist to me.

The people in charge dislike Antifa because people who align under that label oppose those in power.
I hesitate to use the argument “‘Antifa’ means ‘anti-fascist’ therefore if you don’t like Antifa you are necessarily fascist”–not because I don’t believe it’s true, but because I believe it’s more correlation. The “National Socialist” party was not as its name purports, nor do many of the “Protect the children” laws actually do what they say on the tin; therefore a deeper inspection on acts, means, motives, and results is warranted over a mere “literal definition of the name.”

You’d think people would learn not to use shitty reasoning when it’s used against them. But it seems like instead people only care that the reasoning is bad if it contradicts them. And as soon as they want to throw things at their enemy they’ll pick up whatever flawed garbage they can, not worried about how it reflects on them or how if undermines the state of reasonable public discourse. Any weapon is valid as long as it’s used against the Enemy. So disappointing.

Thank you both! This is the answer I was trying to get and understand, nothing about religion, I get that but seriously cannot fathom or understand people hating “Antifa” when it WAS (previous) and anti facism group and I know groups can get morphed but seriously… how is that okay?
I am not trying to talk religion, I was just legit asking a question and on the attack of religion.
