My pomegranate method is to cut the peel into quarters along the ~4 corners, and then I just bite into it and be okay with eating a lil bit of waxy stuff
Comment on And the pre-peeled containers for 4x the price are a ripoff
wabasso@lemmy.ca 3 weeks agoI mean I want there to be an easier way than “peel underwater” but every time I see a life hack that just rehashes that method, I’m glad to know I haven’t been wasting my time.

I’ll give this a try, but I know it won’t be compatible with wife.

Pomegranate/wife compatibility is admittedly quite crucial

Something about not eating the seeds whilst Hades is about, right?

I find this method easier and no water involved. To each their own though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U4X9uh-sZ4

Did…are you a bot? The last step in the video is literally putting the seeds in the bowl and scooping out flesh with a spoon. I guess this is “waterless” if the goal is not getting your hands wet with water (only pomegranate juice?)
Anyway, I will still try waterless if I happen to open up pomegranate and it’s magically of the quality and peelability in the video.
