  Yeah, they had the classic chips and tendies but they were only for some sports club doing awards at the same time. Massive oversight for such a family event. I would have bought two so the boys could have an easy feed

    Yeah. Mini sausage rolls, little red sausages, fish fingers, maybe even a steamed dimmy… all of that would work but chips and nuggets are probably the easiest most universal option

      When you expect people to bring a picnic rug and sit on the ground it helps if kids can eat with their hands. I saw all these tiny kids trying to eat burgers, nowhere was serving hot chips
