A double edge safety razor is a nicer experience imo. Brush. Poraso soap. Sample pack of different blades.

Any of you lot who need to de-fur their face use a cut throat? Contemplating getting Boyo one

I used to!!!
Was using disposable blades though, not a proper old school single piece one.
Great shave. Takes a bit of practice, but a good skill to have. A nice shaving kit, with a proper razor, brush and stand makes an awesome gift.

Oh a sort of halfway thing? Didnât know that was an option.

Something like this
You replace the blades as required, but still a âstraight edgeâ to an extent.

Does he cut with the grain or against? Is he good with sharpening tools? Does he nick himself regularly?
You can get nice Safety razors. Thatâs what my man uses.

No idea. Paranoid about his chisels. No.

Hahaha. Cut throats are great against the grain. Not so much the other way around. They also need to be sharpened before every use.
If knives are his thing, go for it!
