UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 2 days agoLibel laws and other censorship across Europe is pretty fucked. As a case in point, some of the highest instances of enforcement of anti-semitism laws in Germany are against Jews protesting for the rights of other Middle Eastern ethnicities.

I am talking more the level of litigiousness and constantly erring on the side of mega corps. Sure we have better free speech laws but that doesn’t make up for the fact that people can and are held liable for injuries criminals incure while on their property attempting to rob or vandalise them.
