I have a light cotton doona I use over summer. Over winter I have two fairly heavy wool doonas, I used to use both at the same time over the coldest parts of winter and just one other times of the year, but the new house is warmer overnight so I’ve only needed the one.

I just bought a new doona. It’s thin but made of cotton and the inside is wool. I’m wondering if I’ll die of heat this summer.
My question of the day is: Do youse alternate between a winter doona and summer doona? What are they made of if you do or don’t?

I have a winter one and summer one. Summer one is probably synthetic.
The winter one is too much even in winter. i think it’s either wool or some poor bird’s feathers.

I have a thin cotton doona stuffed with synthetics
In winter I use thick doona covers and sometimes a blanket on top, summer no doona cover and I just wash the doona every week or so.

My mum has just the doona cover and no doona in it plus the flat sheet for summer.
