Buy these tins when the new season oil arrives, and they are moving older stock out of the warehouse - half price easily. And plenty good enough for everyday cooking and non-salad uses.

Olive oil prices have gone absolutely mad. I try to buy aussie made EVOO when I can anyway. Top quality and generally cheaper than the imported brands.

the local ones are strong tasting, I just use oil for cooking so want very low olive oil taste

Have you tried something other than olive oil for cooking? Coconut works well for many things, smoke point is a bit low, but not terrible.

I use sunflower, no way am I going to spend $65
