Depression is a chemical dysbalance in your brain. If you were able to just go start doing stuff to alleviate it, it probably wasn’t depression.

FireRetardant@lemmy.world 1 week agoI have been, then i do my best to stop the behaviors that are putting me there and start doing the stuff that alleviates it. I haven’t been clinically depressed or had it majorly derail my life but I’ve had some rough stretches.
