Trust the good olā ball peen hammer - best modern substitute for a medieval war hammer. Though I guess you could up the nasty by squaring off the head and putting a point on it if thatās your jam.

And skulls. Saw a doco about the battle of Tothill Fields (one of the bloodiest in UK history) - the skulls with the square holes punched through them were victims of a war hammer in action.
