Comment on Lords of the Fallen 2 Will Be Revealed During Gamescom
It seemed more like “we own this name and it’s pretty edgy and marketable” to me. The first one existing (and being complete and utter shit) probably didn’t matter to anyone on the publishing side.
Funny enough, the original is the one I like. Hated the reboot.
I tried to get into it a few times but when you’ve played a couple thousand of hours of the Souls series, it came off a cheap imitation.
I bounced off the new one right away. It sounded fun on paper but the big lantern mechanic was over sold and not fun.
