Yep. It should be an apprenticeship, or hybrid. Maybe 2 years theory, 2 years apprenticeship, or 3/1. I’m hoping to get a job as a TA next year to get some classroom experience before I graduate (sometime in 2027 I hope)

LowExperience2368@aussie.zone 1 year agoI agree. A term in the classroom all up isn’t long enough. I’m a fan of the apprenticeship-based model that’s come out recently, but I think it should be extended to primary.

That’s a good idea! If you’re interested in Vic public, they advertise jobs all the time on the school jobs vic portal. Potentially even cold calling / emailing schools including ones you’ve done placement at could be a good idea :)
