I agree. A term in the classroom all up isnāt long enough. Iām a fan of the apprenticeship-based model thatās come out recently, but I think it should be extended to primary.

Nope, somewhere between unemployed, retired and lean-fire at the moment. Iām pretty lost in my career, Iām just getting back on my feet health wise, so Iām dealing with one thing at a time. Working as a therapist, I struggled with the ethical aspect of selling healthcare. In particular advising people to come back for another session because it would be better for my wallet. I really like labour work but Iām getting on so I reckon Iāll sort my NDIS tickets and work in that field for now. Iām privileged to not be under financial pressure but a lot of that comes from living super frugally.
