We’ve always been a damn nanny state. Instead of addressing societal issues, let’s slap a shit-laden bandaid on it.

I saw an article about a woman whose game was taken down as part of all this censorship bullshit, so she put it up on her own website as freeware. I think that’s where the internet is going to have to head more now.
I’ll download a game for free from somewhere, then I might just make a donation to someone for totally unrelated reasons. And do you think torrent sites will put up age verification? They’re already illegal.

There was a debate here for ages about an R rating for games and that’s just undone now under the pretence a child could see something somewhere.
And then the torrent website block. It’s only honourary as it’s so easy to get around. I don’t even visit the actual sites anymore

I’m way more inclined to donate towards freeware. Calibre, VLC, WinRAR, WinAmp, uBlock, Firefox. Been using these for years. Happy to throw them a few bucks here and there.

That’s where a lot of these games may have to go. They release them free and you donate to them if you liked it. They need some work around if you can’t buy direct anymore
