There was a guy in my neighborhood that died of cardiac arrest at home with his 3 dogs. No one noticed for a few weeks and by the time someone did the dogs had eaten the body and one one dog was alive.
I still feel awful about not checking on him…

actually a really good idea if you live alone with pets…
like, if i get hit by a truck i don’t want my dog to starve to death….

nope….
however, “in case of emergency, i have a pet at home alone”: is pretty important….
e.g. i’m adding my pet to my list of emergency contacts on my phone now… they’ll figure it out.
