    Imagine growing up in the 80s or 90s wanting to be a great jounalist, and ending up doing this bullshit instead.

      The problem is that doing anything great requires a lot of sacrifices. Risk to life and limb,broken relationships, broken families, that sort of thing. Journalism isnt different. Wanna report on Gaza? You’ll have to live in the area for a good while, maybe even years. Long and unstable hours, lots of stress.

      Most people just go for the easier jobs
