  VPN would get me banned or shadowbanned from socmed but I want to look into VPN for general use anyway.

  The free ones have a reputation for being dodgy so I’m wondering about the free one included with the Opera browser?

    I use Brave browser when also has a VPN option and lots of inbuilt “do not track” privacy settings. I’ve not used the VPN much but just adding it as an option for yiu

      @bacon @StudChud be careful with Proton. I've now seen several accounts of people having issues with Proton VPN then getting their entire Proton suite locked and no recourse: as bad as Google. Also they have autopayment without notification which some people will definitely take issue with.

        Yeah I am only using it free for when I access 18+ things. Not gonna let them keep any data.
