Same ! my local pizza shop is the BOMB! Itâs almost a weekly order. Iâm lucky in that regard I guess.

Wow, my local Burgatory used to be great, now theyâre mid af and exy as. Sorry kids but I donât think weâll be doing that again. And they messed up the order. I order food maybe 2x a week from various places, and it would seem that at least one order a week is just wrong, everything from forgetting the dipping sauce which goes with an item, forgetting one whole meal from the order (everyone except one person gets food) or just putting totally the wrong items in the bag. It seems to be getting worse! The only person who gets my order right every time is the old Italian guy from the local old school pizza shop đ¤đź

I hate the lack of attention/care that goes towards food orders these days. Itâs so frustrating! For an industry thatâs absolutely blown up, the amount of failures is astounding.

It seemed to go okay. She was asked lots of questions about how she learns and what she likes and doesnât like and how she approaches certain problems. My daughter prattled along quite amiably đ There were no right or wrong answers, just getting to know you type things. We wonât find out whether sheâs been accepted until later in the term. Iâve got my fingers and everything else thatâs crossable, crossed.
At the start she was asked if she prefers to be referred to as âsheâ or âheâ (itâs a pretty tolerant school) and I learnt that she doesnât identify as a girl, which was⌠interesting. For a while Iâve thought of her as being kind of âandrogynousâ (I guess that was a typical word used when I was younger to describe the kind of person she is) but I didnât realise that she just doesnât identify as female. Sheâs definitely not a âgirly girl,â but then neither was I really. I didnât really enjoy feminine dressing until I was in my late twenties maybe? đ¤ She doesnât correct me when I call her a girl, so I didnât really know how far her thinking/feeling went in that regard. I was not looking forward to the more physical aspects of her reaching puberty, but now I am absolutely dreading it. Iâm trying to be accepting and progressive, but to me she is always my beautiful girl, clever and strong, a free spirit. I donât really know how to feel or what to think. Sorry for the lengthy response, Iâm just a bit confused and trying to process it all.

Heavy stuff. Perhaps now that she (they?) said her feelings to the school, she might be comfortable having a chat at home too? I can imagine itâs a tough situation to experience for both of you. I donât really have much to offer as advice but weâre here for you. Hugs.
