swelter_spark@reddthat.com 1 week agoI suspect my mom has BPD or a similar condition because of similar behavior. She lied about me constantly, stole from me, randomly flew into intense rages which sometimes included physical attacks, and tried to sabotage everything I did. Now that she’s elderly, she wants my bf to change jobs so we can move to her state and live with her. 🙄

It sounds like your mom went through a lot. I believe that my mother’s issues are also the result of family abuse. (2 of her 3 sisters have the same behaviors.) I feel sorry for her, but she’s still a bad person. She lives in the same town as my brother and his family, right next to her grandkids’ school, so she definitely does not need me to move in with her.
