This place naturally accumulates privacy advocates that are indeed bothered by this.
Unless they state the risk & danger and support those claims with something concrete & rational (instead of leaving it to ungrounded speculation), it seems like peanuts. I like to set parameters around my anxiety & keep it real.

It’s not the ability that’s bothersome (that part is fine, and has been there). It’s the fact that this is part of the first boot screen you see on Edge now, with dark patterns to get you to do it.

Oh sure, that makes sense. I never use Edge except when I’m testing a windows server VM.
