The news feels like foreshadowing in a bad apocalypse movie and I still need to go to work
I’m desperately trying to ignore it all.
Israel has gone for Iran which I saw in passing, and looking now apparently the US might get involved. I don’t really like discussing US politics but kind of wishing we weren’t allied right about now
Yeah, Iran, the protests, the military parade. It sucks to know we’re on the side of the bad guys. It feels like one of those Lenin decade weeks so let’s hope for a similar revolution
Plus ICE, and reporters being shot with rubber bullets.
…I dunno about that part. Didn’t the revolution eventually result in Stalin? :/

It reminds me of this meme I saw when COVID started of a Venn diagram of ‘still having to go to work’ and ‘the end of the world’. It feels like we’re in that overlap again
